On Saturday, April 8, 2017 the Family Easter Fest & Egg Hunt will take place from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Trinity Church, 3000 North King’s Hwy., Myrtle Beach. There will be egg hunts for different age groups games, crafts, and inflatables. Families will travel the path Jesus journeyed. They’ll taste the Passover meal, visit Barabbas in his jail cell, hear a Roman’s soldier’s remorse, and join in other powerful experiences. This is an event you won’t want to miss! Easter Egg Hunt at Thompson Farm

The 5th annual Easter Egg Hunt at Thompson Farm will be held April 8 beginning at 10 a.m. with a brunch with the Easter Bunny. Brunch includes baked ham, bacon, grits, cheddar biscuits, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and milk. Seating is limited in Bucksville Hall so come early.
 
A Giant Easter Egg Hunt will follow brunch at 12 noon with more than 10,000 eggs hidden throughout the farm. Eggs will be stuffed with candy and prizes and each child is guaranteed an egg. One Golden Egg will be hidden for a special prize. The egg hunt will be divided by age group. Other activities during the day include Pappy’s Play Area, hay wagon rides and two animal feedings.
 
The cost is $19 for ages 14 and up; $17 for ages 9 to 13; $12 for ages 3 to 8 and free for ages 2 and under. Call ahead for reservations. Join in on just the egg hunt and farm fun for $9/person.

 

Join Champion Autism Network for a Sensory Friendly Easter Egg Hunt on April 15, 2017. This event will take place at 10 a.m. at Passive Park in Surfside Beach. Passive Park is located on the corner of Surfside Drive and Willow Drive, next to the Surfside Library.
 
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Brass Tap  Enjoy Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from at 9 to 11 a.m. at The Brass Tap on March 25. To make reservations, call The Brass Tap at 843-945-1747. Easter Egg Hunt

There will be a free Egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Lost Mine Miniature Golf, Myrtle Beach, and from 2-3:30 p.m. at Bay Watch Resort, North Myrtle Beach. Take part in a fun and frantic egg hunt suitable for all ages with the Easter Bunny in attendance! There will be fun activities like face painting, cookie decorating, balloon animals, mix-your-own jelly bean station and fun games and music, too!

Barefoot Landing’s annual holiday ceremony, the Lighting of the Landing, will take place on Saturday, November 19 starting at 6:00 p.m. with fireworks following at 7:00 p.m. The Lighting of the Landing will feature a visit from Santa, along with holiday music from The Alabama Theatre and other local groups and individuals. This year’s event will be hosted and emceed by Greg Rowles of The Alabama Theatre.

The Great Christmas Light Show  is being held at the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Sports Complex from November 25 – December. This celebration is sure to capture the true spirit of the season! It’s a drive through light show that features over 1.7 million lights festively displayed along a 1.5 mile drive throughout the Complex. Over 400 magical light displays, some up to 70 feet tall, have been custom made for this year’s show. Visitors will experience 14 enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life.  After the journey through the light show, we invite everyone to park their car and visit Santa’s Village where they can enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, ice skate, experience the Go Ape lighted tree top adventure, and then meet Santa!

Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars, The World’s Largest Circus Under The Big Top, is being held March 30 through April 2 across from the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Shows at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. daily will feature elephants, tigers, flying trapeze, clever canines, aerial ballet, clowns, ThunderDrome Moto-Globe, teeterboard, hand balancing, the Human Cannonball and more. Easter Egg Hunt in McLean Park
The 33rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt in McLean Park is on Saturday, April 4. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance at McLean Park at 93 Oak Drive in North Myrtle Beach to give candy to all the children. The egg hunt begins at 10:00 a.m. There will be other activities between 10 a.m. and noon. Wear your Easter finest to have your photo taken with Ms. Blossom. Egg hunts are divided by age (infant and above) and there are many other activities for all ages. The North Strand Optimist Club will provide refreshments.
