What better time to take in a baseball game with the family than while you’re on vacation in Myrtle Beach. You see, we’re not just about golf and the ocean around here – there’s many local events that include amusement and entertainment in the surrounding Grand Strand area as well.
Out of the mouths of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans themselves, when it comes to describing their upcoming 2014 campaign it’s “Un-Flocking-Believable!” And, honestly, you won’t want to miss it! Tickets start at just $8.00. There’s a kids zone play area on the grounds, a fantastic fireworks shows at the end of some home games, and free promotions and giveaways.
Following every home game, kids are permitted to run the bases with Splash and Deuce, the mascots. Kids enter the field at the first base side at the top of Section 104 and exit near the home plate area at Section 107. Proceed to the first base side only after the completion of the game so as to not disturb the patrons sitting in those areas. Parents may join younger children on the field. Kids are asked to only run the bases one time since time is limited due to other post-game events.
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will have the following upcoming home games at TicketReturn.com Field. Future dates on the schedule can be seen on the Pelicans website.
