Spending the Easter Holiday in Myrtle Beach

The arrival of springtime means different things to people. For some it’s a date on the calendar while for others it doesn’t truly arrive until that first spring day. But no matter where you and live and what the weather is, you can’t help but think of spring when you’re celebrating the Easter holiday. If you’re planning on spending the Easter holiday in Myrtle Beach this year we’ll tell you about some events taking place around the Grand Strand area. All are open to the public so be sure to check at least some of them out!

Spending the Easter Holiday in Myrtle Beach

Take the kids to visit the Easter Bunny at Inlet Square Mall from now until Easter. Hours are Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. (break from 3 p.m.-4 p.m.), Sunday Noon-5 p.m. (break from 3 p.m.-3:30 p.m.). Bring a camera and take some priceless photos!

Bunny Hop Easter Celebration will take place from 12 noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 at Barefoot Landing. The event provides plenty of entertainment, food and games.

Come have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway at the Beach on Saturday, March 26 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The price is $9.95 per person. Kids 2 and under are free with a paying adult. Please make your reservations by calling (843) 946-0007.

There will be an Easter Bunny Brunch at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina this Saturday, March 26. Bring the family and enjoy a hot breakfast, a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny and lots of Easter-themed games and activities. Don’t forget to bring your own basket, bucket or bag for the Easter egg hunt. Two seatings: 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You must register and purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $6 for members and $12 for non-members.

The Town of Surfside Beach will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Children’s Festival on Saturday March 26 starting at 1 p.m. This popular event will begin promptly at 1 p.m. at Passive Park followed by the Children’s Festival at Fuller Park from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Other fun activities include train rides, inflatable buildings, face painting, balloons and more.

Easter Services & Worship
Many places of worship are offering special services for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, including a sunrise beachfront service in Garden City Beach.
