With this year’s 53rd Annual Canadian-American Days taking place starting Monday, March 10 and lasting through Tuesday, March 18, 2014, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will host a series of events. To start, on March 7 the Canadian consulate will welcome visitors who are in town for this year’s Can-Am Days. An information booth will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 1200 N. Oak St., Myrtle Beach.
At 6 p.m. on March 10 the 53rd Annual Canadian American Days Festival Concert Series Kickoff gets underway. The kickoff is hosted by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by TD Bank. It will feature The Burlington Teen Tour Band and other performances.
The Burlington Teen Tour Band will perform at Myrtle Beach Mall starting at 12 noon on March 12, at Inlet Square mall at 10 a.m. on March 13, and at Coastal Grand Mall at 12 noon on March 14. On March 16, the Festive Brass of Myrtle Beach will perform at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach, located at 901 N. Kings Hwy., in Myrtle Beach.
