If you’re just starting out you won’t want to pass up the Swing Dance & Hustle Class. This class is for beginners as well as advanced dancers. Held every Tuesday from 7-8 p.m. it’s a great way to learn to swing dance and hustle. Beginners can develop a strong foundation while experienced dancers can refine their technique and correct bad habits. Instructors will give you personal attention and constructive feedback. Learn to dance to the music: the holds, rhythm, beat, style and more. Learn how to have simple moves look good with class and poise as well as learn a variety of different variations. Ballroom Dance Class is held from 8-9 p.m. every Tuesday beginning Jan.2 1 at the By the Sea Ballroom & Latin Dance Studio. Ballroom dance class is designed to teach the individual the necessary skills to feel confident on the dance floor. Each week the focus is on one of the 6 major dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, or Swing. Classes will cover the essential elements of dance, basic turns and techniques. No prior experience or partner necessary! Price is $10 each.
On Thursdays, beginning Jan. 23, come learn Line Dancing with Hana at the Surfside Bowling Center and Brickhouse Lounge from 7:30 to 9 p.m. This class is suitable for all ages and costs just $5 each.
