Good Times Await at the Fourth Annual Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam

Chauncey Smith   |   13 Oct 2021

Jeep fans are some of the most enthusiastic car aficionados out there, and on the weekend of Friday October 29th to Sunday October 31st one of the premier Jeep gatherings will take place at the fourth annual Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam! This event will be a can’t-miss spectacle for Jeep fans, off-road adventurers and people just looking for a good time!

This year marks the fourth installment of the Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam, and this event has quickly become one of the biggest autocentric gatherings along the Grand Strand. The festivities kick off on Friday October 29th bright and early at 7 AM with a sunrise beach crawl (tickets required, separate from event registration), with hundreds of Jeeps cruising along the gorgeous Myrtle Beach shoreline as the sun creeps up over the Atlantic horizon. Each of the next two days will begin this way as well. Later that day and over the course of the weekend, the majority of the event will take place at 2501 N Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, with the festival grounds offering over 90 vendors, food trucks, live entertainment and, of course, off-road challenges.

Since Jeepers are all about handling every trail and rough piece of terrain they encounter, the Jeep Jam offers plenty of challenging courses to put their rigs to the test. At the main festival site, the Outlaw Off-Road area will put drivers through the paces of a tricky course complete with sticky, sopping wet mud pits, concrete drainage ditches and many more obstacles. Down the road at Myrtle Beach Chrysler, a Proving Grounds area will be there to challenge Jeepers. Both obstacle areas are open daily between 12 PM and 5 PM. All weekend long there will be plenty of group gatherings including the Aggressive Krawlers party on Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway at the Beach.

Even if you don’t drive a Jeep, there’s no excuse not to make plans for a weekend getaway to Myrtle Beach! With warm temps still in the area and endless shopping, dining and entertainment options, Myrtle Beach is truly a year-round vacation destination.
