Surfside Beach’s Annual Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 10th, at 2 p.m. The reviewing stand and bleachers are located at Surfside Drive and Ocean Boulevard. There are over 100 entries and it begins on Ocean Boulevard at 10th Avenue South and goes to 16th Avenue North.
2011 Christmas Towne takes place on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. This Myrtle Beach tree lighting celebration with appearances by Santa, live entertainment, and other fun and festive holiday activities.
Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens runs through December 17, 2011 from 3-10 p.m. Thousands of candles illuminate garden paths as musicians play, carolers sing, and you experience the holiday magic only “Nights of a Thousand Candles” brings. This annual event has become a holiday tradition when the gardens become a wonderland of lights and candles with outstanding entertainment. Dinner catered by Inlet Affairs is available in addition to regular admission prices.
