The Carolina Opry / Calvin Gilmore Theatre
Speaking of country music, how would you like to check out the largest country music enterprise on the whole East Coast? That’s exactly what you’ll get when you step into the world-famous Calvin Gilmore Theatre.
If it’s accolades you’re looking for, this place has got you covered there too! In fact, the theatre’s main attraction (The Carolina Opry) is the only show that’s won the Governor’s Cup, which is the “gold medal” of tourism awards.
The Palace Theatre
It’s a sad fact that most of us will never get to see music legends like The Beatles in concert. But if you spend a night out at The Palace Theatre, you’ll get the next best thing!
That’s because (as of 2015) they’ve got a full lineup of the Greatest Tribute Bands live in concert. Broadway fans will also be drawn to the theatre because of its popularity among travelling “off-broadway” shows.
